About the Wine

Niwa no Uguisu 60 Junmai Ginjo - Brewed in Fukuoka, Japan, this aromatic and fresh Junmai Ginjo sake smells like green melons and is vibrantly crisp and textured on the palate. Crafted from Yamadanishiki rice polished to 60 per cent, it offers up aromas of Asian pear, mineral, pumpkin, nougat, and apple. Medium-dry, with a round, silky mouth feel and flavours suggesting candied almond and pear.  Umami-rice flavors give way to a long, lingering finish that is perfect when served with food. Best served chilled.
