JADE is the provincial stone of British Columbia. This precious gem is a mineral, which is mined in Northern B.C. Its hardness makes it ideal for carving and making jewellery. Prized by the Chinese as the most precious of all gems. JADE is said to bestow tranquility and good fortune upon those who possess the stone.  It is believed that JADE will bring good luck and good fortune to its owner.

The smooth edges and natural imperfections on this hand crafted Jade Inukshuk are its creative appeal and beauty.

Inukshuk -An Inukshuk (plural inuksuit) is a stone landmark used as a milestone or directional marker by the Inuit of the Canadian Arctic. The Arctic Circle, dominated by permafrost, has few natural landmarks and thus the Inukshuk was central to navigation across the barren tundra.

Inuksuit vary in shape and size, and perform a diverse array of tasks. It is a symbol with deep roots in the Inuit culture, a directional marker that signifies safety, hope and friendship. The Inukshuk has been adopted today as a symbol of our dependence on each other and the value of strong relationships.

    Beautiful Sculpture

Amazing sculpture! We use these for departing gifts for our senior personnel who are moving to a different part of the organization - typically out of the country. It has such significant ties to BC and is great to give as a reminder of their time here.
